Drip Brew

Bold Simplicity in a Cup

Drip brewing is the method of choice for many households and offices, thanks to its ease and reliability. Using an automatic coffee maker, hot water drips over medium-ground coffee in a paper or reusable filter. This process produces a clean, balanced cup with minimal effort. While it lacks the control of manual brewing methods, it excels in convenience, especially for making multiple servings. Regular maintenance, like descaling, ensures the machine performs optimally. Drip brewing is a practical choice for those seeking consistency and efficiency without compromising on flavor.

Process

1. Place the paper filter in the dripper or holder
2. Rinse the filter with hot water and discard the rinse water
3. Add coffee grounds (medium grind, about 1-2 tablespoons per cup)
4. Pour a bit of hot water (195–205°F) to wet the grounds and wait 30 seconds
5. Slowly pour the rest of the water in circles until it drips through
6. Discard the filter, pour the coffee, and enjoy
